Roding Primary School is maintained by the London Borough of Redbridge and is governed by the Redbridge admissions policy.
Roding is a two-form entry school. We have a Nursery with 30 places for children in the morning and afternoon sessions. From Reception to year 6 we take 60 pupils in each year group. Due to significant pressure on primary places in Redbridge the school opened an extra class in September 2010 in Reception thus making this year group (now Year 2) 90 children.
In the term before children join the school, parents/carers are invited to visit in order to meet the Headteacher and support staff so that they may learn more about what Roding has to offer.
Children leave Roding at the end of Year 6 and most go to one of the following secondary schools: West Hatch (Essex school) or Caterham (Redbridge school).
Parents may opt to enter their child into the London Borough of Redbridge selection process for Grammar School. The 11+ test is taken during the autumn term of Year 6. Please refer to the Redbridge i website for further information.
