Many thanks to all the parents who sent in donations for ‘Make a Difference’ week. Nursery children helped to re-plant our nursery garden and have planted strawberries and tomatoes that we hope will grow and we can share. We have enjoyed watering them (when the sun shines!) and watching how they change and grow.
This week has been ‘Deaf Awareness Week’. We have been busy learning some new signs for colours and animals. We were also lucky enough to have a theatre group come to sign and share a story. The children were a wonderful audience and really enjoyed it. Ask them to share their new signs with you.
This term we are encouraging the children to eat healthy snacks and providing a range of different foods for them to try. Yesterday we had a chill day. We made icing and decorated cakes and then to be healthy we made fruit kebabs which we ate while watching a DVD.
Our children have been working hard in the garden, lifting and storing our spring bulbs that have finished flowering and preparing the soil for planting seeds and vegetables. As part of ‘Make a difference week’ the children have had great fun watering our plants. We would like to thank all the parents who have supported […]
