There is a uniform at Roding which all children from Reception upwards are expected to wear every day as it helps develop our school identity. The new colour scheme will start in September 2014 with a term’s transition. All children should be wearing the new uniform by January 2015.
Children may wear:
- Navy Roding sweatshirt or plain navy pullover or cardigan
- Plain white polo shirts, shirts or blouses
- Black trousers, shorts, black skirts or pinafore dresses
- Blue check or striped dresses in summer
- White or black socks or tights
- Plain black shoes or black or white sandals with heel strap in the summer
All children are expected to come to school appropriately dressed for the day’s activities. .
We stock uniform in school – please contact the office for details.
Please mark all coats and uniform items with your child’s name
In order to take part in a safe and healthy way we expect children to wear the appropriate PE kit.
They will need to change into black shorts and a white tee shirt for each lesson.
In the colder weather children may wear a plain black tracksuit for outdoor lessons.
For indoor PE lessons children will go bare feet or plain black plimsolls or trainers. Children are not permitted to wear their school shoes for P.E.
You will be notified at the start of the school year on which days your child’s class has P.E.
At Roding we believe participation in PE is important and should your child for whatever reason not have PE kit in school then we shall provide shorts and a top.
