Year 6 at Grosvenor Hall – Day 4 – Circus skills
This Year 6 group began the day trying their hand at a few circus skills, including juggling, devil-sticks, spinning plates and the diabolo. The diabolo resembles two large, round cups connected end-to-end, which is spun and thrown high into the air using a string connected to two hand sticks – and can take many hours of practice to master.
Plate spinning proved the most popular of these activities – though we have asked Year 6 not to look to improve their skills in the Roding Primary dining hall.
Everyone really enjoyed our circus skills session. No one, thankfully, has yet run away to join a circus.
