At Roding Primary School, we firmly believe that regular attendance is vital for a child’s academic, social, and emotional development. Learning within the school environment fosters collaboration, engagement, and a sense of community that is difficult to replicate remotely.

Remote learning is intended only as a last resort when circumstances prevent in-person attendance, such as during exceptional events or individual cases where students cannot access the classroom. Our aim is to ensure continuity of education during such times, providing pupils with high-quality, accessible resources and maintaining close communication with families.

Through a blend of digital tools and tailored support, we strive to keep pupils engaged and connected to their learning journey. While remote learning cannot fully replace the richness of in-school experiences, it reflects our commitment to safeguarding progress and well-being in challenging situations.
